oh are you talking about me hun? You want to know why I'm on staff? Because I can pick out poorly made graphics from good ones. I don't just accept stuff that's been thrown together in five minutes. I do believe I've helped you with your layouts before. If you don't like the fact that I rejected your icon, pm another staff member. They'll tell you exactly what I've told you. It's not a good icon, it doesn't stand up to the standards we have here. Instead of shit talking about me, why don't you go and improve on your skills? Why do I give blunt rejection letters? Because our queue is filled up, I just point out what you should look out for next time and move on. I can't spend hours deliberating and sugarcoating my rejection letters to make sure your feelings don't get hurt. As a graphic designer you should understand the concept of "criticism" and use it to your advantage. If someone finds something wrong with your work, instead of bitching about it, you should figure out how to IMPROVE. I didn't get on staff by buttering people up. I got on staff because I know what I'm doing. If I were to look at your icon a second time, I would STILL reject it because it's simply not up to par. My job is not to sugarcoat things for you sweets, my job is to weed out good graphics from bad ones. Granted I am harsher than the rest of the design staff but what we accept will reflect on our site. If something just isn't good and it's accepted, what will that say about our site? Low standards? Ok then. I am absolutely certain that I deserve to be on staff and if you do get on staff one day, then good for you. Have a good day and don't expect me to soften up just because a few of you don't like me.
